I started my 1st
job out of school was working 20-30 hours (part-time) for Café Descante as
Store Manager/IT Tech Support. My IT
Tech Support duties included: computer knowledge, upgrading software,
troubleshooting, technology support, computer maintenance, and in store
purchasing orders/inventory.
I still continued applying daily a minimum of 2
applications per day in search of a higher paying and full-time IT position. I
researched and applied to jobs daily through Craigslist, careerbuilder, and
other websites that Career Services recommended. A few months later I was
offered a full-time IT Agent position.
I am very happy working downtown Chicago in the field of
my studies.
